Whale and Dolphin Conservation invites you to attend the presentation and empower yourself with the tools needed to operate safely around whales and avoid accidental collisions! These situations can be dangerous for everyone involved and result in costly repairs to your boat.
During this presentation, you will learn how to:
Keep yourself and others safe while out on the water around whales.
Identify commonly seen whale species along the US Atlantic coast.
Practice safe whale watching guidelines.
Know what to document and who to call if you encounter a marine mammal in distress.
Take an active role in marine mammal conservation.
